Global Trade And Economic News: China Dumped Steel Products In South Korea
- As Taiwan News reported, the South Korean government has made a preliminary ruling that China, Indonesia, and Taiwan dumped flat-rolled steel products in the country’s market. The government will continue to investigate the matter for the next several months, but if the decision to impose anti-dumping tariffs is confirmed, Chinese steel imports will face tariffs of 49.04 percent while Indonesian imports will face penalties of 29.68 percent. Taiwanese products will be hit with tariffs totaling 9.2 percent to 9.51 percent.
