Virtual Chapter Leadership Symposium Starts THIS WEEK
MSCI’s Chapter Leadership Symposium starts this Tuesday, February 8. This event, which allows chapter leaders to gather and share best practices, will be conducted virtually over three 1.5-hour sessions this winter and spring. Each session will feature an industry CEO.
Like you, Reliance Steel and Aluminum’s Jim Hoffman, Ryerson’s Eddie Lehner, and Olympic Steel’s Rick Marabito have volunteered countless hours serving MSCI and their industry peers. They will discuss the importance of MSCI chapters and volunteer leadership in general and how to inspire the next generation to give back to this great industry.
The goal of the Symposium is to provide you with the knowledge and information you need to create and sustain a vibrant, best in class chapter. Through breakout discussions you will have the opportunity to learn and share how to:
- Increase chapter engagement
- Sustain and grow scholarship programs
- Host engaging, thought-provoking educational sessions
- Provide an exciting forum for networking with industry peers
As you know, part of MSCI’s mission is to create and sustain a sense of community within our wide-ranging group of member companies. Our chapters help us achieve that mission. We hope you will join us virtually.
Our goal is to have at least one board member from each chapter, but since the symposium is virtual, we hope more people will be able to attend. Register here.
