- As Reuters reported, the Chinese government has opted to extend anti-dumping duties on grain oriented flat-rolled electrical steel imported from Japan, South Korea, and the European Union. The duties were extended for five years beginning from July 23. The anti-dumping duty rates are set at 39 percent to 45.7 percent for Japanese firms, 37.3 percent for Korean companies, and 46.3 percent for companies from the European Union.
