- In the first two months of 2024, Chinese steel companies increased their exports of steel products by 32.6 percent from the same period the year before. Steel imports to China for those two months fell 8.1 percent, meanwhile. Read more here.
- According to Reuters, China’s iron ore imports for the first two months of 2024 were up 8.1 percent from the previous year. Reuters said that number works out to a monthly average of 104.73 million tons, up from a monthly average of 98.39 million tons in 2023.
