Global News Of Note: IMF Releases Global Growth Estimates

What happens abroad impacts MSCI members in North America. Here is the latest economic, trade, and other policy news of note for the last week:

  • The International Monetary Fund (IMF) announced last week that it predicts global growth will be at 3.3 percent in 2025 and 2026, a number that is below the historical average of 3.7 percent. The forecast for 2025 was largely unchanged from the IMF’s October 2024 outlook, but the IMF did raise its growth estimate for the United States while revising estimates for other major economies downward.
