While the coronavirus pandemic has kept industrial metals industry colleagues from meeting in person, the Metals Service Center Institute has developed engaging, virtual content for its members, including a series of free, one-hour virtual webinars.   • September 28, 2021, 10 a.m. CT: MSCI will host a free, one-hour webinar with Olympic Steel’s Tony Dominic who will discuss different types of magnets and their applications and provide an overview of consensus standards that apply to magnets being used as lifting devices.   • September 29, 2021, 1 p.m. CT: MSCI will host its monthly CEO Huddle. September’s event will feature Lou Germano, senior vice president at Marmon Metal Services, and Michael Williams, president and CEO of TimkenSteel Corporation who will share their perspectives on end-use market demand, infrastructure spending, employee health and safety, and more.
