On July 13, Join USCC’s National Day Of Action Opposing Tax Increases
Businesses small and large are still recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic, but U.S. lawmakers could soon consider a number of tax increases that would hurt employers, including approximately 1.4 million small businesses with fewer than 500 employees.
To send the message that the United States needs an economic recovery, not harmful tax increases, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce (USCC) will hold a national day of action on Tuesday, July 13. Interested individuals are encouraged to engage on social media, company websites, and other channels using the hashtag #RecoveryNotTaxes, this downloadable graphic, and a message about why lawmakers should not raise taxes. Please tag @MSCITweets and @USChamberAction in social media posts.
After posting on social media, send a message to federal lawmakers by using the USCC’s one-click advocacy tool to tell federal lawmakers to do the right thing for American businesses and not increase the corporate or pass-through tax rates.
