Shipments Remain Down in the U.S. and for Canadian Steel
ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill
Only aluminum shipments in Canada increased in February 2019. Steel decreased in both countries and aluminum decreased slightly in the U.S.
U.S. Service Center Activity
U.S. service center steel shipments in February 2019 decreased by 6.2% from February 2018. Shipments of aluminum products decreased by 2.7% from the same month in 2018.
Canadian Service Center Activity
Canadian center steel shipments in February 2019 decreased by 7.7% from February 2018. Shipments of aluminum products increased by 7.3% from the same month in 2018.
