This Week: CEO Huddle And Webinar On What To Expect From Washington Lawmakers

While the coronavirus pandemic has kept industrial metals industry colleagues from meeting in person, the Metals Service Center Institute is working to develop engaging, online contents for its members.

These events are all online and can be accessed by members no matter where they are in the world. Upcoming events include:

  • February 9, 2021, 10 a.m. CT: MSCI will welcome Universal Stainless President and CEO Denny Oates and A.M. Castle & Company President and CEO Marec Edgar for MSCI’s February CEO Huddle. The two will share their reflections on the new norm, the outlook for the steel industry and industrial metals distribution, along with their perspective on end-use market demand. In addition, with a new Administration and Congress in place, they will share their perspective on potential implications of fiscal policy and infrastructure spending. Every employee of an MSCI member company is welcome to join the discussion. Click here for more information and to register. This event is sponsored by Red Bud Industries. Visit Red Bud here.
  • February 12, 2021, 12 p.m. CT: MSCI will welcome Neil Bradley, executive vice president and chief policy officer for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, for a one-hour free webinar. The conversation will cover what we might expect from the new 117th Congress. What will its priorities be, and how closely can we expect the parties to work together to accomplish them? After the pandemic, where do efforts like tax policy and infrastructure improvements appear on the list? How much legislation can we expect with slim Democratic majorities in both houses?
