Because the unvaccinated population faces new risks presented by the variants associated with COVID-19, the National Association of Manufacturers, with the support of the Manufacturing Institute (MI), continues to push its “This Is Our Shot” initiative.
This website has new resources and tools employers can use to help people understand why vaccines are the safest, most effective means that manufacturers and the metals industry has to overcome this pandemic. The site also includes posters, videos, fact sheets, and vaccine locators.
Additionally, the MI and the University of Florida Center for Public Interest Communications have produced a comprehensive new communications guide that includes research-based and message-tested strategies for how to effectively reach manufacturing teams specifically and convince individuals that they should get vaccinated. MSCI encourages its members to take advantage of these free tools.
